18U:

The San Jose Sharks had a strong start to the T1ER / T1EHL Invitational, coming away victorious against the Danbury Hat Tricks and Omaha Mastery. Game one against the Hat Tricks was a huge come from behind victory as the Sharks were trailing 3-1 going into the third period. The hero for San Jose was Carrick Stevens who scored a hat trick, including two goals in the third period to aid his team to victory. During game two of the day, Tanner Fast would find the back of the net at the 12:41 mark of the first period as the only goal of the contest.

The Chicago Fury went 2-0 on the day with wins over the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies and Biggby Coffee, both games ending with final scores of 5-2. During Chicago’s 2nd game of the day, the Fury were down 2-1 to end the first period but rallied together to have a fantastic middle and final frame, scoring five unanswered goals.

16U:

The Maine Nordiques and Seattle Kraken took part in a fierce battle as the Nordiques came away victorious in overtime by a final score of 3-2. A pair of goals were scored in both the first and third periods, ending regulation tied up at 2 a piece, including a late third period tally by Chandler Moore to send things into OT. Just 11 seconds into the overtime period, it would be Chandler Moore yet again to bank home his second goal of the contest to send the Nords home with smiles on their faces.

The Omaha Mastery improved to 3-0 on the weekend with a 5-2 victory over the New Jersey Titans. The contest was scoreless through the first period of play before things really picked up in the middle frame where a total of five goals were scored, four coming from the Mastery. The scoresheet standout was most definitely Landon Green who notched three of the five goals for Omaha. This game was easily Green’s best game to date as three of his four points on the season were tallied against the Titans.

15U:

The Pittsburgh Stars took down Philadelphia Hockey Club in a cross state battle, the final score being 5-1. The leading scorer for not only the Stars but the entire 15U division is Brock Bienemann. The Jeannette, PA native had himself a game netting a pair of goals and assists for his second four point game of the T1ER season. With four points on the day, Brock has racked up 14 points in 7 games, averaging two points per game.

The West Dundee Leafs had a strong showing against the Tri-State Spartans, coming away with a 4-2 victory. West Dundee came out the gates hot scoring the first three goals of the game, one in the first and two in the second. The Spartans would attempt a comeback, two goals in the third period but the Leafs would net their fourth goal of the game late in the third period. Patrick Galley would be the largest contributor netting two goals and dishing out one assist.

14U:

Here at the NAPHL we would like to send our deepest condolences to CarShield’s Wyatt Gula and the entire CarShield organization. Gula’s father, Timmy unexpectedly passed away this morning, a deeply loved and cherished member of the Missouri club. The team rallied around Wyatt this afternoon when they picked up a 3-1 victory over the Philadelphia Little Flyers. The team has set up a Go Fund me for the Gula family.
