October 9, 2026

The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) is heading back to Janesville, Wisconsin for the T1ER Janesville Jets Experience! The NAPHL is partnering with the Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League to host this event. The action will take place on October 16-19 and will be held on the Jets’ home ice at the Woodsman’s Sports and Convention Center.

This event will feature competition from the 18U and 16U divisions, bringing together top talent from across the T1ER League, as well as regional guest team appearances for a weekend of high-level competition and exposure. This event marks the kickoff of the NAHL Experience Series for the 2026-27 season. This opportunity offers players exposure to the next level of junior hockey firsthand.

“The T1ER League continues to provide a pathway for players aspiring to compete at the next level, with more players currently advancing to the NAHL than any other Tier 1 league,” said Dennis Vickers, Director of Player Personnel. “The Janesville T1ER NAHL Experience Showcase is a great example of that commitment, bringing elite competition together with an opportunity for players, coaches, and scouts to experience the NAHL environment firsthand. By aligning this showcase with the Janesville Jets’ home games, we’re helping players better understand the next step in their hockey journey while showcasing the high level of competition that defines T1ER hockey. Being able to see T1ER alumni Brandon Vislay, Nathan Motichka, and Carter Oliphant (who competed in this event last season) playing with the Jets and Wilderness gives players a realistic expectation of advancement. We’re excited to welcome these T1ER teams and guest opponents to Janesville for a weekend that celebrates development, opportunity, and advancement”

NAHL Experience Weekends offer players far more than just games, they deliver an opportunity to get a true taste of junior hockey experience. From competing in NAHL markets, and touring team facilities, to sitting in the stands for live NAHL action, players gain a front-row experience of the speed, intensity, and atmosphere that define the next level. Even more, these events provide invaluable exposure to NAHL coaches and scouts, giving players a chance to showcase their game in the same environment they aspire to play in.
