October T1ER event moves to final day

The second event of the 2023-24 T1ER League season continued on Sunday, October 15th at the Super Rink in Blaine, MN, with the 14 and 15U teams taking to the ice for the final time in the event, while the 18 and 16U teams continued play.

Monday is the final day of hockey and exposure with all T1ER 18 and 16U teams in action. The event runs from October 13-16 at the Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota.

Day 3 recaps

T1ER 14U: CarShield AAA defeated the Seattle Kraken by a score of 4-2. Anthony Pickett scored two goals in the game. Goalie Cameron Burle stopped 15 shots. Omaha Mastery AAA edged the Anaheim Ice Dogs by a score of 3-2. Brennen Silva had a two point game while goaltender John Curtis stopped 22 shots. The New Jersey Titans picked up a 4-1 win against the Oakmoor Patriots. John Honovic accounted for four points with a goal and three assists. 

T1ER 15U: The New Jersey Titans won in overtime against the Oakmoor Patriots, 3-2. Lucas Shi scored the overtime winner. Netminder Lorenzo Titanegro stopped 26 shots in the victory. The Esmark Stars topped Janesville Jets, 5-3. Nar-Ulan Baiken posted three points in the win. The Madison Capitols defeated the Philadelphia Little Flyers by a score of 7-1. Jake Cimorelli recorded four points and goaltender Brunch Koch stopped 15 shots. CarShield AAA defeated Philadelphia Hockey Club, 4-1. Robert Kelly scored back-to-back goals in the third period for CarShield. Goalie Chase Vogelgesang took the win in net. 

T1ER 16U: The New Jersey Titans won 4-1 over the Madison Capitols. Ryan Tartaglione added a goal and an assist. Peyton Million stopped 20 of the 21 shots he faced. Minnesota Laker topped Team North Dakota in a 4-3 contest. Chris Bade stopped 27 shots in the win. A third period goal got the Vegas Jr. Golden Knights a 3-2 win over the Green Giants. Nico Donato added two goals and an assist. In the pipes was Vincent Vitale who made 16 saves. The Walleye won 11-2 against the Northeast Generals. Hudson Huber had a four point game. The Philadelphia Little Flyers netted three goals in the 3rd period to win 3-1 over the United Hockey Federation. Korean Crossan had a two point game and Jacob Aranda played great stopping 30 shots. The Esmark Stars won 5-4 in a shootout against Indiana Elite. Marshall Hewitt added a goal plus an assist and goaltender Herman Zippeldt stopped 21 shotts. Biggby Coffee AAA won 3-1 against the Colorado Springs Tigers. Biggby goaltender Hunter Jackson stopped 16 shots on net. The Lincoln Stars shutout the Seattle Kraken 6-0. Samuel Kline and Griffin Brown both scored two goals and Carson Croteau dished out four assists. Aaron Sachs posted a 22 shot shutout in the win. CarShield AAA took down the Maine Nordiques by a final score of 7-2. Alex DeGroat recorded five assists in the game and goalie Miles Jensen stopped 20 tries on net. The Minnesota 15U All Stars netted two goals in the third period to take a 5-3 win over the Philadelphia Hockey Club. Goaltender Ethan Johnson got the win in net stopping 8 shots. The Minnesota Moose won 3-2 over Omaha Mastery AAA. Edward Auran added a goal and an assist in the win. Goaltender Carter Mayfeild shrugged off 17 shots. 

T1ER 18U: Biggby Coffee AAA added a third period goal to 2-1 against the Philadelphia Little Flyers. Reid Meinhardt scored the game winner and goaltender James King stopped 30 shots. Philadelphia Hockey Club edged CarShield AAA with a third period goal for a 4-3 win. Kevin Walton posted a goal and an assist. Goaltender Lorenzo Rossi stopped 34 shots in the win. The Madison Capitols defeated the Maine Nordiques by a score of 3-1. Jace Knorele stopped 26 shots in the game. The Esmark Stars won 3-2 in overtime against the New Jersey Titans. Ethan Bombalski scored the game winner. The Minnesota Lakers beat the Northeast Generals 4-3. Thomas Lewin had a two point game. The Minnesota Moose beat the Maine Nordiques in a 4-3 score. The United Hockey Federation shutout Indiana Elite, 2-0. Goaltender Jannes Camp posted a 25 shot shutout win. The Minnesota Voyageurs defeated the Seattle Kraken by a final of 5-1. Carter Midthune netted two goals and goaltender Drew Raukar stopped 14 shots. The Colorado Springs Tigers sealed their win with an empty net goal defeating the Valley Forge Minutemen 5-3. Gabe Adams scored two goals for the Tigers and goalie Nathan Graybill shrugged off 33 shots. The Vegas Jr. Golden Knights won in a shootout against the Green Giants, 3-2. Connor Beers and Jacob Webb scored for Vegas in the win. Omaha Mastery AAA won 4-2 over the Tri State Spartans. Benjamin Osiashvil had a three point game and goaltender Noel Friedman stopped 22 shots. A goal in each period sent CarShield AAA ahead of the Philadelphia Little Flyers 3-1. Kyler Ahischlager scored a goal and handed out an assist. Goalie Branson Appelman turned away 19 shots. The Minnesota Walleye topped the Northeast Generals in a 10-2 score. Drew Puchner had a night totalling 5 points while goalie Nicholas Hansen was great in net stopping 36 shots. The Esmark Stars scored twice in the first period that would get them a 2-1 win over Biggby Coffee AAA. Goalie Landon Buterbuagh stopped 27 shotts in the contest. The Minnesota Grey Ducks won 1-0 against the Maine Nordiques. Hunter Handerson scored the lone goal in the game and Goaltender Brooks Currie posted a 24 shot shutout win. The Green Giants scored a third period goal to take a 2-1 win over the New Jersey Titans. The United Hockey Federation won 5-1 over the Vegas Jr. Golden Knights. David Baer had two goals and Hunter Bauer stopped 15 shots on net. Philadelphia Hockey Club won 4-2 over Omaha Mastery AAA. Jaydon Jones and Nicholas Rockey both scored two goals. The Minnesota Lakers won 12-2 over the Seattle Kraken. Benjamin Amato scored three goals and two assists while goaltender Cole Murphy blocked 15 shots. The Minnesota Voyageurs scored four goals in the third period to win 4-2 over Indiana Elite. The Colorado Springs Tigers blanked the Minnesota Moose, 3-0. Angeo Basson stopped all 11 shots he faced. The Maine Nordiques took a 4-2 win over the Tri State Spartans. William Brown scored twice and goaltender Gavin Morris stopped 29 shots. The Valley Forge Minutemen topped the Madison Capitols in a 2-1 game. Goaltender Aries Carangi stopped 27 shots in the win.
