T1ER announces USPA Peak Performers for October 2023

The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) announced its US Performance Academy T1ER League Peak Performers for the month of October. The players were selected based upon their performance during the T1ER regular season games played at the October event in Blaine, MN.

 

T1ER 18U

Forward: Alexander Thomas, Esmark Stars – Thomas, 18, had six points in four games as the Stars remained perfect on the season with four more wins. The 5’10/165 lbs. native of North Huntingdon, PA, had four goals and two assists in four games and had two mutli-point games.

Defense: Charles Leuthold, Philadelphia Little Flyers – Leuthold, 18, helped the Little Flyers to a 2-2-0 record in Blaine with four points in four games. The 6’1/195 lbs. native of Wallingford, PA, had two goals and two assists and one multi-point game during the event.

Goalie: Lorenzo Rossi, Philadelphia Hockey Club – Rossi, 18, went 3-1 during the October event in Blaine. The 6’2/225 lbs. native of Wappingers Falls, NY, allowed 10 goals in four games, stopping 106 of 116 shots against, which was good for a 2.50 goals against average and a .913 save percentage.

 

T1ER 16U

Forward: Alex DeGroat, CarShield AAA – DeGroat, 16, helped CarShield to a 3-0-1 record in Blaine. The 5’7/130 lbs. native of St. Charles, MO, totaled 10 points (all assists) in four games played, which included two games with five points apiece.

Defense: Xander Mullens, CarShield AAA – Mullens, 16, had his best event so far of the season, totaling six points in four games played in Blaine. The 5’11/170 lbs. native of Ft. Worth, TX, had one goal and five assists, which included a four-point game.

Goalie: Jacob Brumm, Vegas Jr. Golden Knights – Brumm, 16, won both of his starts during the event in Blaine. The 6’0/150 lbs. native of Las Vegas, NV, allowed just two goals in two games and stopped 45 of 47 shots, which was good for a 0.98 goals against average and a .957 save percentage.

 

T1ER 15U

Forward: Aiden Grinshpun, New Jersey Jr. Titans – Grinshpun, 15, picked up seven points in four games in the event in Blaine. The 6’0/170 lbs. native Monroe Township, NJ, had 5 goals and 2 assists, which included two multi-point games.

Defense: Desmond Allman, CarShield AAA – Allman, 14, had four points in four games played in Blaine. The 6’0/145 lbs. native of St. Charles, MO, totaled four assists in four games and had two multi-point games.

Goalie: Cameron Farrow, Esmark Stars – Farrow, 15, won all three of his starts in Blaine. The 5’8/152 lbs. native of Jeannette, PA, allowed three goals on 60 total shots, which was good for a 1.00 goals against average and a .950 save percentage.

 

T1ER 14U

Forward: Charles Barnes, Omaha Mastery AAA – Barnes, 14, totaled 10 points in four games in Blaine. The 5’10/155 lbs. native of Bellevue, NE, had four goals and six assists and had two multi-point games.

Defense: Logan Lamell, Anaheim Ice Dogs – Lamell, 14, picked up four points during four games in Blaine. The 5’9/160 lbs. native of San Diego, CA, had a goal and three assists, which also included one multi-point game.

Goalie: Cameron Burle, CarShield AAA – Burle, 14, won all three of his starts in Blaine in October. The 5’9/135 lbs. native of St. Louis, MO, allowed just five goals in the three wins and stopped 54 of 59 total shots, which was good for a 1.66 goals against average and a .915 save percentage.
