T1ER West Showcase concludes in Blaine

The sixth event of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) T1ER League concluded on Monday, December 18th as the T1ER West Showcase had more action in the 18U and 16U Divisions.

This was the seventh overall event of the 2023-24 season for the NAPHL, which is made up of the T1ER, SHOW, and FALL Leagues.

The NAPHL T1ER League is sanctioned by USA Hockey and is designed to maximize the exposure of all the participants through the NAHL's high-profile recruiting events that attract hundreds of college, junior and professional scouts.

The NAPHL T1ER League West Showcase event in Blaine will be played in cooperation with the second NAPHL SHOW League event of the 2023-24 season, which features 18, 16, and 14U teams from the SHOW League.

In addition, the 2023 NA3HL Showcase will also be taking place at the Super Rink from December 17-19. All NA3HL teams will play three regular-season games at the Showcase, which is annually one of the most well-attended and scouted events of the entire season for the league, attracting over 100+ college and junior scouts alike.

Day 3 recaps

16U T1ER: The Florida Alliance secured a 3-2 victory against the Madison Capitols in a thrilling game that went to a shootout. Kane Eanes and Dominic Huey scored for Florida Alliance, while Quinn Moskol and Jacob Olday found the net for Madison Capitols. The Seattle Kraken emerged victorious with a 3-0 win against Omaha Mastery. Jaxson Trichak, Max Carpenter, and Freeman Butler scored for Seattle Kraken. THe Orland Park Vikings secured a tight 1-0 victory against the Las Vegas Jr. Golden Knights. The lone goal was scored by Gavin Riquinha. The Arizona Bobcats clinched a 3-2 victory over the Colorado Springs Tigers. Arseny Putikov, Brandon Koeller, and Nicholas Nunez scored for Arizona, while Gavin Zuber and Charlie Gage found the net for Colorado Springs.

18U T1ER: Omaha Mastery secured a 5-1 victory over the Madison Capitols. Benjamin Osiashvili, Tyler Dahms, Mario Fate, and Kyle Sorensen were among the goal-scorers for Omaha, while Jackson Turner scored for Madison. The Las Vegas Jr. Golden Knights edged out the Seattle Kraken with a 2-1 win. Daniel Madison and Connor Beers scored for Las Vegas, while Jeffrey Hershberger contributed to Seattle's scoring. The Colorado Springs Tigers faced a 2-1 defeat against the Rose City Pats. Breck Buettner scored for Colorado Springs, and Alex Sackett and Jayden Hitt contributed to Rose City's scoring. The Arizona Bobcats secured a 6-3 victory over the North Carolina Golden Bears. Ian Buckley, Ryan Bernard, and Ryan Jim were among the goal-scorers for North Carolina, while Ryan McCaughey, Reed Gramlich, Brady Englerth, and Andrew Jazwin scored for Arizona.
